90 degree valve stems
Hey, Great idea! To bad the MoCo could not do that factory.
Had the same issues on my 09 Ultra Classic. Tried many approaches but in the end, I opt for 90 degree valve stems. Now, it's no problem at all. Here are some photos of different valve stems that can make life easier and a photo of the stem installed. The Harley mechanic who installed them put them on his bike as well.

I just ordered a pair of these valve stems. When I replace my tires in a few thousand more miles I will have these installed.

I have a quality bicycle pump with a lift up to lock chuck. Joe Blow is a good brand name. Get one at any bicycle shop. It can handle 110+ lbs in my bicycle, it has no problem with 36 or so in a motorcycle tire. I don't remove bags. Never taks more than five or six pumps to get to what I need. I check my pressure about once a month. The most difficult part is getting the valve at the bottom.
This is so simple..............
