I almost bought one of these too. Glad I saw this post as well. Guess I'll just continue to use my Craftsmen lift.

I plan to add a Rivco centerstand to my bike. The stand raises the rear wheel off the ground for cleaning and maintenance. This will be much simpler than having to use a lift.

I don't really have a need for a center stand. I'm fine with the standard kickstand.
It's also more expensive than a simple lift and doesn't really help for maintenance, IMO. I much prefer lifting the bike higher when I work on it. Just my opinion.

Don't waste your money on it like I did. If the bike was straight up it might have a better chance of working. I suppose you could use the hf jack to hold the bike straight and then.....

I never use mine... I tried it once and it was harder than just getting out the jack/lift and putting her in the air. Dont waste your $20!

I've used it once. I'm a stickler for clean wheels, but if you're not using a lift, it's easier doing the ol' back 'n forth roll. Save your $$$ & buy a lift...the Harbor Freight yellow jack does the job for me.

Spend the xtra cash on a motorcycle lift. Harbor Freight & Pep Boys have them for around $70. Check out Sears too

I built the one on the link. It was pretty easy, fairly cheap, and I use it all the time to get my wheel off the ground for cleaning. The only drawback is it only gets the bike up a few inches, about like a center stand.
