Anyone unhappy with their Harley Backrest?

Anyone unhappy with their Harley Backrest?
I have been debating on weather or not to get a Harley backrest for my 2010 Ultra Classic. I have the new lowered version of the stock seat and after 3,000 miles it's not to bad for a stock seat.I'm trying to decide if I should invest in a backrest or put the money toward something like a C&C seat. I was at a Harley shop this weekend and saw a couple used Ultra's that had a riders backrest.I was a little dissappointed with my first impression. They seem to move around alot and I wasn't crazy about the almost triangular shape.I had a riders backrest on a Corbin and also on the Ultimate on a previous bike and really liked them. For the price of the Harley backrest I am really hesitant and would like to hear some feedback from those of you that have one. Thanks!

I have an '04 Ultra, and luckily, a co-worker sold his
bike and GAVE me his backrest. Pretty much useless. I guess if
you ride with your feet on crash bar foot rests and lean WAY back....you
could feel the thing.
My G/Friend can not sit comfortably with it installed, but for
what what it cost me, it sits in the shed.

Love mine! I have the standard with the street glide stich. When i have the sundowner and tourpac on it stays on but when i have the bike in stock street glide form it stays in my saddlebag until i need it. Works great and i have it adjusted just were it needs to be. I have not used an adjustable backrest but have never wished i could move mine to anyother position now that it is set. I did have to do some trial and error adjusting when i first installed it but now that its set i don't think i could go on a longer ride without it. And i like the more finished look of the non adjustable backrest. The adjustable ones i have seen just have the back pad and a bare bare and no leather collar like the standard backrest. Im not saying get a Harley brand but i do think any backrest it worth the money, IMHO.

+1 what Jonny said . . .
I had a HD adjustable on my 07 Road Glide and then changed to a Mustang when I changed the seat on that bike.
I moved the Mustang over to my new bike and it fit very well and the material matches perfectly. The Mustang backrest is much thinner and looks much better IMO. Thought I'd miss the adjustable but I don't.
