Clutch slipping??? Bad or Adjustment??
Just had the SE Compensator installed last week and now when I'm in 6th gear and get close to wide open throttle my 6th gear light goes out and it feels like the clutch is slipping. It happens sometimes in lower gears where I feel it slipping and the rpm's are going up to fast. It did happen once before I has the SE Comp installed but didn't think much of it.
Is it an adjustment? Or is the clutch going bad???
Thanks for any help

If adjusting doesn't work...
& if you know how, pull the clutches and check the fiber and steel plates. To extend the life of a clutch pack I have doubled 1 steel and as many as 3 to increase the stack height which also increases spring rate. I also clean the steel plates with a wire brush on a drill which removes any glazing. As the steels get hot they glaze over and loose there ability to work properly... when you remove the glaze they will work as new.

start with the cable adjustment.
Make sure you have about 1/8" of free play in the cable.
Then, make sure your engagement is within 1" - 1 1/2" of lever release. Or generally within the first 1/3rd of lever release.
if this is the case, then perform the clutch adjustment, per the service manual.
Or if you dont have the manual, hit youtube. There's like 100 videos showing you how. It takes 10 minutes.
