when ceramic coating...

You might want to call the guys over at RUSH. They have a double ceramic coating process the coats the inside and outside of the pipes. My father-in-law has them on his Ultra, and after riding it before and after we did the swap, i can tell you it makes a huge difference. I see a guy named Ryan from RUSH on the forum from time to time, maybe he can help you out. But as far as your question about needing to do anything else, i would keep an eye on my spark plugs after you do it. The improved exhaust flow might lean you out a little. Just my two cents.

With you being in North Carolina you should call Calico Coatings in Denver, NC. I used them back on the spring with good results. A friend of mine rides a totally stock 2007 FLHTCU and he's been complaining about the heat since he bought it. We pulled his head pipes and he took them to Calico. He is very happy with the results.
I had talked with the folks at Jet Hot as well, they have a location in Greensboro. Calico did the job for less than half of what Jet Hot wanted.
