Looks like a neat boot. Like the tread/heel options. I suppose if the footbed does not feel so good, one can change it out for something better. Did that in lots of my boots and man, it makes them feel like a new set of boots for a few bux. Hope you enjoy the boots. Come back and give a wear report once you have a few weeks on them...especially how they do in wet weather. Thanks

You can also use a different footbed. I use my custom insoles that I had made for my ski boots in mine.

Walking around and riding in these things for a week....they're the best boot I've ever owned in 35 years....Wow!!
I've seen a lot of info saying they take a long time to break in.....they've been incredibly comfortable from day 1 with me.......if they break in and get better then double Wow...

I have the regular Combat Touring Boots and they are absolutely the best boots I've ever owned. My old pair is probably ten years old, so maybe 150,000 miles on them, and I have a new pair on the shelf ready to go when these finally give up. The Lites may not have much of a break-in period, but the regular ones are pretty tough and take a while to break in (but it's well worth it.)
