Just curious about which sounds better. I would like something not really loud but I want that DEEP HARLEY SOUND. Or would you go with a V&H or Rinehart??

So much for thinking I could get some help here. Just asking what other people prefer. Instead of getting help, you get sarcasism. But thanks anyway. Thanks for nothing.

Don't know the best sounding but I heard the fatshotz duels on a ultra limited at the dealer and they were not loud but had a deep rumble when gunning the bike.

sorry but did not really mean it like that but what I like you may not ,I hear a lot of bikes on the road I think sound bad for one reason or another but the person riding it must like it , you really just need to listen to different bikes and find out what they are running and it also depends on what other mods they have done

slip ons sound completely different depending on whether they are pre cat or post cat. I had a pre cat with 65115-98B and it sounded completely diff then does my 2011 with 65115-10s. So you might get some better responses if you state what they are going on. Also higher compression motors sound diff then stock motors so many varibles unless you post what they are going on kind of hard to give you a good answer.

Good response Ultra...I know what you meant with your reply...it is all very subjective....I'm sort of in the same boat as I like the looks of the SE slip ons that mtclassic has but I will be replacing the oem header with probably VH dresser duals so how much that alters the sound I'm not sure. It sounds like with the cat in the header those pipes give a nice low rumble but if you take the cat out of the equation how does that affect the tone? We know it will be louder but.....

Go with the Rineharts if you want the deep harley sound. I had the Screaming Eagles on my 07 with the V&H True duels and it sounded okay. I will tell you what MY WIFE SAID after i switched to the Rineharts. Im glad you got rid of those SISSY mufflers, she likes it DEEP.
