A seller has this solo seat for 97 - 08 Road King. I think there is an honest mistake since all fitment charts for various seats I find end at 07 and 08 (what I am looking for) requires a different style mount/set-up.

Will this HD solo fit an 08?

 

No it won't, because there is a tab on the seat. In 08' they put the tab on the frame and also the bigger 6 gal tank. I have a C&C solo w/ passenger pillion that will fit your 08' bike (was on my 08" SG) and I am asking $150 plus shipping. Shoot me your e-mail in a PM and I will send pics.

Not gonna work, seat has the inny beginning with 08

 

The seat is an OEM HD solo seat off a Road King Standard pre-'08. The RK Standard came standard with a solo seat and passenger pillion. As others have said, the front tab on the seat shown in the picture means it's a pre-08 seat.
