Default '10 vs. '11 Street Glide

Hey guys! I bought my '10 Fat Bob in July and am considering moving up to a Street Glide. Besides the 103" motor what is different on the '11 vs. a '10 leftover? Any pro/cons? Thanks in advance!

They went back to 2-1-2 exhaust and "optioned" the motor, security, etc...so pricing is per package deal. Other than that, pretty much same bike & you'll definitely get a better deal w/'10 leftover (I did last year). Good luck!

I purchased a 10 Street Glide after waiting to see the 2011's. The 103 would have been great but they wouldn't budge on the price. Got a fair deal on the '10 and have really enjoyed the bike. Came from a dyna and I think the SG handles better and the highway travel is great. Put a higher windshield on and Vance Hines slip on single exhaust and I'm very pleased. Not as fast as the dyna but adequate for me even with the wife 2 up.

96" motor is still standard, taxes and insurance are higher on the 11's.

Other than what's already been said, I think there is a new tank badge, a new re-designed seat for sure.

I bought a left over '10 and saved a lot of money.

I had to chime in on this.I have had both believe it or not.I bought a '10,and recently had to trade it for an '11 due to an unfixable problem with the front end and 3 other "issues".I put 4600 miles on the '10 before trading it.I can tell you the '11 is much better! It is basically the same bike, and I did spring for the 103,but the '11 is smoother, shifts better, and the new seat is great.I am much happier with my '11.Also,if you like duals,it is a pain in the a** to convert a '10.If you have the money get the '11!

interesting..I am up against the same decision- It will save me about 2k for a leftover '10 vs 2011 (both having a 96ci) I like the 2-1 pipe so I will probably end out with the '10

Guys, thanks for all the great information. I am going to stop by the dealer when the weather clears up and take both for a spin. I really should have listened to my buddies who told me to go with the 'glide in the first place. Thanks again! - Steve
