Cleaning a black bike

I am in the process of cleaning and detailing as I always do before it goes up on the lift for winter. I am trying Pledge for the first time and find it to be extremely easy and my chrome has not looked this good in years. Plegde leaves a nice wet look but will have to see how it holds up. I still need help on getting rid of a few deep scratches on the fairing caused by stones. Any ideas would be appreciated.
