I have a black UC, I always the same problem. I find that if I ride it, I don't have to worry about cleaning it. 7000 miles in 3.5 months!!!

They make a small duster. I use it. Detailers and washes I use sparingly, only when it needs it due to swirl marks.

No one can see the dust as you fly by @ hwy speed(s). Keep rid'n...

When I do stop for a bit - Wizards spray & micro-towel off. Makes the bike look shiny new!

Here's another thumbs up for Turtle Wax Ice. I use the paste variety and it's shine is unbelievable. It is a little work to remove but the fact that it's clear means you don't have to dig in every little crack( and I got a big enough crack to dig in now).he he

My bike is black. I live in Arizona where it is dry and dusty, so my only normal concern is dust and bugs on the fairing. I spray some pledge on a microfiber towel and go over the shiny hard parts to get the dust off and use a little more elbow grease for the bugs. I only have to wash it once a year, sometimes more if I have been riding someplace and it's rained and there is a lot of road spray or mud on it. It gets dusty just parked at work because of the landscapers and their leaf blowers.
