RE: Redline oils
I use in all 3.
I can feel the difference in the shifting and on my legs on really hot days.
Not a ton of difference in the heat, but enough that i actually noticed.
Now this may just be me, but it feels like the motor spins up higher easier. I never bounced off rev limiter before changing to synthetic, now I have a few times.
Clutch was weird for the first hundred miles or so, then settled down to normal.
20/50 in the motor
MTL in the primary
Shockproof heavy in the tranny
Oya, gas mileage went up by 1-2mpg.

RE: Redline oils
I have switched over to all synthetics in all 3 holes. The engine is the only hold out so far. I just wanted to be sure that I could get the RedLine 20w-50 before I committed to that one. So while my mileage was ticking up, I just dumped in Mobil 1 in the engine.
Am running MTL in primary.
And Heavy Duty ShockProof in the tranny.
Over all the bike is shifting and running great! Can't wait until I rack up a few more miles to change the engine oil over to RedLine.
(mind you, I don't really think anything is wrong with Mobil 1, I just want to remain totally concistant from my next oil change on out)
