put 21in wheel on front of bike been on awhile noticed other day got small crack onback of front fender some one said the metzler tire will swell when riding anyone know about this.

 

I guess you didn't check the clearance. You are suppose to tape a 1/4 nut to the center of the tread and spin the tire. If the nut clears you are suppose to be good to go.

It's tight in the back near the top. My fender was installed improperly and rocks got caught up between the tire and fender and put about a foot of dents in that area. It looked like someone's backbone was trying to poke through.

It sucks when your installer thinks he's smarter than you and doesn't install it like he's told him to do.

 

The Metzelers actually have less "growth" than most of the other brands. We tape washers to the tire first here at our shop, but it seems like on the '09's and up, either a new fender is needed or some modifying of the two rear mounting holes on the stock fender is needed.
