I traded my 09 FB off on an 11 SG a couple of months ago. It's a good trade. It's a different ride though. I loved my FB, but I now love my SG. It's really nice to be able to take things with you, and it's much better for riding 2 up. It's much more comfortable for long rides, and the fairing really helps on the highway.

The biggest adjustment for me was how much softer the front shocks are on the SG. I'm still not thrilled with the suspension difference. I've been thinking about swapping out the front and rear for something an inch or two lower and a little more stiff. I don't wish for a harsh ride, but I would like it to feel a little more responsive.

In all, I'd do it again. The SG really is great, and it's an open canvas for customizing. I think I'll have this one for a long time.

Hope that helps.

SG is just a great all around bike.
The first time I took one for a test ride I was amazed at how it didn't feel like some big bulky touring bike. Traded in my NT and I don't miss the NT.

I just cant find anything I DONT like about my Street Glide..
How 'bout that nasty wind that whips up off that bat wing? Or perhaps the heavy beast of a front end?

Thank you all for the great advise. I am talking to the local Harley dealer and I think I will pull the trigger in a week or so. I will let you know. Ride safe.

Default Don't make a choice - have both...

My 2009 FatBob and 2011 Street Glide... It would be tough to pick.
