Default Best jack at best price

Do you lift your bike off the ground with a motorcycle lift for the winter? What brand jack do you have and where is the best place to get one? I have seen them range all the way from $75 - $400...

I have the J&S jack and love it. There is no way I'll put my $20,000 bike on a $75 jack.

Love my J&S. But there are people who will argue that their sub-$100 Sears or Harbor Freight jacks work just as good and do the job fine. And there are others that will argue that their Pitbulls are better than the J&S. I choose to stay out of those arguments.

I have the Harbor Freight yellow jack, and it is more than adequate for what I use it for. Nothing wrong with it. Unless you think $75 is wrong.

I have the Northern Tools jack. Red and 1200lb capacity for $100.00. has a lock out lever for in case the jack bleeds down over time. Works great.

Pitbull or J&S. I have the Pitbull since it lifts 7" higher than the J&S. I have never heard of a complaint about either one. I have $30K into the bike...now is not the time to starting pinching pennies on the jack that lifts it up!

Another vote for the 75.00 Harbor Freight jack. Had it for about three years and used it on my Road King then the Glide.

J&S and yes, I put the bike up on it for the winter.
