Default J&S or Pit Bull???????

I am going to buy one or the other. My question, is the Pit Bull worth $100 more than the J&S? Thanks for any help

I have the J&S. It's great. I think the differences are insignificant. Go with the J&S and get the oil pan.

I bought a J&S when I was riding my Dyna ... cleared the frame perfectly without any adapters. Will be great with the Touring bike too. When the rains start in Oregon and it's time to winterize, I put the bike up on the jack, add stabilizer to the tank, and plug in the battery tender. No problem leaving it up on the jack, it's rock solid.

Both are really good products. I went with the Pitbull becuase it raises the bike approx
7" higher than the J&S. Pitbull is a bit wider which may (possibly)make it a bit more stable..but I have never found anybody complain about either one.

I bought the Pitbull because the extra lift height (7 extra inches) was important to me, the zerk fittings are nice to have as well. Owners of either lift all seem happy enough, take your pick and don't look back.

Love the Pit! So glad I opted for the air-lift too. Mark is too easy to work with too.

The J & S with T-handle is $369 plus S & H.

he Pitbull with T-handle is $419 plus S & H.

So that's a $50 difference.

But....you can knock another $29 off the J & S if you don't want the T-handle.

The Pitbull has 7 more inches of lift than the J & S, has grease zerks on all the moving parts, is heavier and has a wider footprint for added stability.

The first pic is my Pitbull and the second pic is a J & S. I'd say do your own research and make your own choice. Both are quality products.

Have the J & S and love it , it is very stable , I like the smaller foot print because I left it up in my garage for a month at a time when doing work on the bike and you don't trip over it and it's more out of the way, as far as the extra height I never had a need to raise mine as high as it will go and I've done total rebuilds on it so why would I need more height

I love my J&S. The customer service is great as well, quick shipping and great communication about their product. Both are quality. You can't go wrong.
