I agree about the time spent. I think a good detail should be done once or twice a year at most. In the meantime, some of the steps are simple and quick.

For me, the S100 polishing soap is one of the BEST and QUICKEST tricks a person can use. I wet my bike and do all the metal with it including wheels, legs, pipes, etc. After that, wash all the tins with car wash soap and blow it dry with my Master Blaster. Takes 30 minutes max and my bike looks showroom clean. I actually enjoy the process and it is much more enjoyable to ride a clean bike.

. . . and I do ride my bikes. 40K on my 07 that I just traded. 4K on my new 11 so far.

Quick question, I have powder coated alot of my bike gloss black. Should I treat that like a painted surface and use car wash and same polishing methods listed? Thanks!
