Help! Scratch!!!
#13
I use a multi part system for removing fine scratches. I start with a heavy compound such as Wizard Turbo cut. I then go to Wizard finish cut. Then I use Wizard Shine master and finish with Wizard supreme sealer. I use cloth diaper material for working the compounds and applying the shinemaster and supreme sealer. I only use new microfiber towels to remove the shine master and supreme seal.
I do nothing but hand rubbing, no machine polishing. Work the compounds in until they disappear and you start to see the finish again. I work the shine master in to the paint two or three times till I get a high gloss no swirl finish then top it off with the supreme seal. My scooter looks wet all the time even though it is bone dry.
I do this two or three times a season as needed. With one being before I put it up before the snow starts flying.

I don't know how it got there, but, I washed the bike really good - about 3 or 4 hours later I decided to go for a ride - as I was walking up to the bike I noticed a white line about 2.5 inches on the top of the tank somewhat near the seat - thought it was a thread from the towel - went to brush it off an GASP it was a scratch!
Now what do I do?
Now what do I do?
