Thanks for everyones reply. Yes I did mean lift. I looked at both brands J&S and Pit Bull. I think I will go with the pit bull. I know it is a little bit more expensive. But it is a little bit heavier built. Since I will be getting my New Road King Classic in about December. I am sure I will be asking more questions. I haven't posted alot but I have been looking around awhile and saving my pennies so it will not be much longer.

I know you made your decision....but here is another vote for the Pitbull. Stable at all heights and very well made!

Had a jack from Northern Tools which was about 100 bucks. I didn't like it when it was up it rocked while I wiped it. Sold it and spent extra $$$ on the Pit Bull (which the wife said get from begging) I like all around, no problems takes up more room then other but traded stability for room. Don't want my heart in my throat if it were to fall off smaller jack.

Has anyone had any experience with a lift that has a swivel on it. I don't know the name. I saw it demo'd at Daytona last year. They had a UC on it and it was raised about 3 feet off the ground. Was around $500 with $150 for the swivel. I was going to buy one but they did not have any swivels left and it would have cost 50 bucks to ship it.

The guy showing it was spinning the UC like a top and it didn't move an inch.

I have the Pit-Bull Jack. I highly recommend it! One of the best accessories I've bought to date. I don't strap the bike to it unless I'm changing a tire. Probably not necessary then.

The Pitbull has a swivel attachment. Since the jack is on wheels and rolls around pretty easily in the garage I have yet to see the need for it. Unless your garage floor is not level, cracked or you have some unfriendly to jack wheels floor I really don't see spending the extra $150...but that's just me....

Looks like you made a decision, but I'll throw my $.02 in anyway. I had a PitBull for several years, and it is a solid, well built lift. But I was frustrated by how much of the bottom side of the motorcycle was blocked by the double feet.

So I bought a J&S and have had it for 3 years now. I find it to also be very stable and well made, and since it only has a single pad on each arm, it is easy to drain the fluids when doing a service, especially with the optional drain pan. I sold the Pit Bull and kept the J&S.

does anyone know if the pit bull lift is safe to lift a Dyna bike. I heard an attachment was needed or purchase the "Dyna Lift" from pitbull.

The "Dyna" pitbull is basically the same as the regualr except that the feet are spaced for the Dyna and a bit more narrow.
