Cheapest Toyhauler for two bikes

I've been fifth wheeling for years and prior to that pulling a regular camper off the rear. After pulling a 5er I wouldn't want to go back to a trailer, but the thing I've found with fifth wheel toy haulers is that if you want one that looks good inside, they are big bucks. The trailer toy haulers are easier to afford.

This is my 2010 KZ MXT20. Easily 1/2 ton towable (7,000 pounds FULLY loaded up with 2 big bikes and all gear). Has all the stuff we need and it's the ONLY one that we found that would fit 2 big bikes. A lot of the smaller campers claim to haul 2 but I actually tried loading our bikes in several of them. No dice. In this camper the bikes don't load side by side but one in front of the other. Very slick.
edit: Forgot the most important part...paid $16,100 brand new (MSRP was a little over 24K).

We bought a Keystone Raptor 30FS, new model this year and it is a tag. I agree with Sarge on the 5th wheel. However, the tag we chose because of the open bed to the pickup to haul extras, firewood, five bicycles or another toy...well probably already know these things. I never did see an Avalanche with a 5th wheel.
My trailer weights 8200lbs dry it is 34 feet head to tail http://www.travelandrvcanada.com/rvs...ListingID=1579 I did not buy it here it just has good photos. I paid $31000.00 fully loaded including Ohlins Generator, 30 gal Fuel tank w/pump, outside shower... We stayed at a Cabela's parking lot last weekend and needed nothing, 100% self sufficient. I am 49 and hope to enjoy it many years to come. Good luck with your search Jerry.
KZ, Forest River, Keystone, nice Toyhauler's w/ many different models.

That avalanche is going to run out of put put pulling any trailer with significant weight.. hell when I had mine it was struggling to maintain 80mph with my 7x14 haulmark low bike trailer.
I now pull it with a Duramax, and cant tell its there!
I also have a 11k lb 5er that I pull, thats pretty noticable but I can still do 75mph all day long.

You are welcome to look at this one Jerry .. Is a Bendron 714TAV Ramp Door, Side Door, Top Vent, Electric Brakes, Dual Axle.. Big enough to haul two Bikes easy .. I have hauled My Ultra and Sporty with lots of room to spare, but any windows, bed or other comforts would have to Do It Yourself .. Was thinking about doing this when bought it but basically all it is doing is sitting .. Has about 500 Miles on it Tops.. Paid 3295.00.. For 2,000 would let it go rather than see it just sit here That includes a Spare Tire as well ..
