I don't have any body or welding experience and I am wondering how difficult it is to weld the license plate holes shut on a fender (2010 RKC). One body shop told me that he didn't want to do it because he was afraid of warping the fender. I know that he can do the paint, just unsure of his welding ability. He mentioned epoxying a plate over the holes, not sure how durable that would be. Yes, I know it will require a repaint and I am planning on that.
