Amsoil actually recomends 20-50 in all three holes. I was running amsoil gear lube 75-110 in the tranny b4, tried 20-50 this time and seems quieter and less fussy going from 1st to 2nd gear.

Is this the Dealer you bought the bike from? Do you have another Dealer close to you to compare stories? I assume you bought the extended Service plan? The reason I'm asking, all the Dealers around here sell Amsoil. Most will include it with service for the same price as Syn3. If you have a warranty and plan to keep the bike and have it serviced there, I would go with what they recommend. Then if something fails, they can't deny your claim. If you are going to do your own service, use what you want! They won't know the difference. Unless you use Redline. It looks like Pepto Bismol and sticks to the gears like you won't believe. I would not use Engine oil in the tranny!!!
