Plus 1 on the plywood, but I think I would use 3/4 plywood. And use the full sheet.

I use this on my 03 Ultra with no problems. If you're careul you can also use a jack (I use a floor jack with a short 2x4) to jack up the bike's rear end enough to spin the wheel during cleaning.

I don't have a King, but at first glance, it does look like it will, but doesn't come close on my EGC.

No problem on any of our bikes, ranging from 06 SG, 06 FLST, 08 FLSTN and a 10 RGC...they all fit with no problems

Default wheel dock

I got the one that is bent round stock and yes my 05 ultra fender hit the swivel. I cut it apart and re worked it.
