If your skittish, you can do like I did and lay a few layers of duct tape over the paint the first time, just in case that lock flips up and hits it. But like the others, my RG cleared. Barely--but that's all that counts.
My RG fender clears with ample space. I'm talking about the black stand with the separate mounting frame that you can remove to bolt it to the floor.
Yep, I have three now on two trailers. I still make sure the bikes are strapped really well. I just put two on my new trailer yesterday. For RK's you have to use the lowest setting (same on the WG BTW)..
$29.00 on sale money well spent. It will even hold your bike upright without attaching it to the deck.
I too like mine. It makes cleaning and maintaining alot easier, BUT, one morning I walked into the garage and my Ultra AND the Chock were laying on it's side. Talking about a sick feeling. Luckily only a scratch on the windshield is all that happened. I have no idea how this happened. I can understand just the bike falling over if not seated in properly but both the bike and the chock... So BEWARE, I now have the chock lag bolted down to the floor. This is the way it was designed to be used. When I first bought the chock and ran the bike up on it I thought " hmmmm how about that, it seems stable enough without bolting it down ". WRONG THINKING.
