Default Nightstick Install

Installed the Nightstick muffler on my 2010 FLTRX. Slight improvement from stock in sound, but really like the looks. My only issue is I have it on the headpipe as far as it goes, and there is still almost an inch space between the heatshield and the main body of the pipe. I've looked at it, and I don't see where it can go on any further as the pipe gets wider at that point. Any suggestions???

I put one on my glide also, I have the same issue. I just learned to live with it. I am going to put a full system on before it is all said and done with.

Thats how it is. You need to cut the headpipe in half at the cat and dig it out then weld it together. Very good upgrade with the Night stick. You will need a pcv or down load after though. The oxygen sensor cross talk issue is bull as far as i can see as the two sensors are in front of the cat material to start with. They are not seperated by any means by the cat period.
