I also went with the windvest, but I got the 6". I still get a little buffeting on the highway, but it's really much better than the original.

Not to ruin a sale but just to let everyone know that windvest has a satisfaction guarantee. If for any reason you don't like a particular windvest windshield that is in like new condition they will exchange it for you. I ordered a 12 inch sheild for my road glide and loved the look but I am fairly tall so the shield was just a bit too short for me. I live about 3 and a half hours from windvest so I went for a ride up there to see about swapping windshields. They brought my bike in the shop, changed it out with a 14 inch on the spot, no questions asked. They replaced the anchor nuts in the fairing for me and only charged me the ten dollar difference for the shield. I sat there a shot the breeze with Doug and Tammy over there for a little while then they gave me a tshirt, some business cards, and some stickers and I was on my way. Their customer service, hospitality, and professionalism is second to none not to mention their windshields are great if you get the appropriate size!

I tried to send you a private message but your user name would not accept it. Send me a contact number and I will call.
