Unless you are going for a ride long enough to burn off the condensation, leave it alone. Plug in the battery tender and forget about the bike for a while!
Great advice. Here's an option to a Battery Tender. Been using them for a number of years.

Like may others.
Full fuel tank with satbilizer.
I leave the battery in the bike hooked up to a battery tender.
That way the bike is ready to ride in the spring or if we get a warm spell over the winter.

don't forget to jack up the scoot off the tires and suspension real good for both, when in storage.

Do What IzzoQuazzo Says!!!
Running the engine builds up condensation. I add stabil and have a battery tender and store the bike thru long Michigan winters...no problem.

Every winter I put stabil in the tank, running it through for a minute, and then plug the bike into the battery tender. Always starts right up again next spring. No need to pull the battery, plus with the battery in, your alarm (if you have one) will still operate just in case.

I'm currently recovering from abdominal surgery and will be off the bike two months. I purchased a genuine "Battery Tender" http://batterytender.com/ from an ebay dealer for $27.95 shipped to tide me over till I can ride again.

It's working so good I ordered another one from the same seller. There are some on there for $24.95 shipped.

Default Battery Minder

This is the little gadget we're all talking about. This one is called a "Battery Minder"!
You can 'hard wire' it to your battery so you don't have to remove the seat to hook it up. I think I paid about $40 bucks for mine several years ago.

+1 on the Batt Tender and fuel stabilizer. I even use it in Florida when the bike sits for a few weeks...mainly because of the humidity.

The Batt Tender is a GOOD investment.

You are correct, the less space in the fuel tank = less condensation.
