Default Riding Sunglasses

Hey guys...
It's been a while, but I am checking to see what you all like for good riding sunglasses...
I am looking at buying a pair of Wiley X polarized sunglasses. However, I have been told by the people at the HD dealership not to buy polarized sunglasses if you have a windshield on your bike. Blah blah blah... Is there any truth behind this? What do you guys think? What brand of sunglasses do you guys use? I am riding with a cheap pair of avaitors right now, and I want something that does a better job of keeping the wind out of my eyes...

Later...

I have some Oakley Jawbones I wear, they have polarized lenses. The polarization only ever so slightly changes how everything appears through the windshield but then again I usually look right over my windshield. I'd say try to find some you can try and see just how much the polarization changes things to you.

The issue with polarized lense would only be an issue if your windshield is tinted or has a UV filter coating AND whether it is tall enough that you look through it instead of over it. The combination can create distortion. Personally I look over mine and thoroughly enjoy my Wiley X XL1 sunglasses. I have two pair- 1 with clear lense for night time and 1 with smoke lense for daytime. I wear contacts and don't have any problems with wind in my eyes.

Polarized glasses are great, but don't get polarized if you plan on wearing a helmet with a tinted face-sheild. The polarized glasses can distort through a tinted windscreen on the bike too, but it's not as bad as if wearing a helmet with tinted face-shield. Like the others said... your usually looking over the windscreen anyway.

I've been wearing Oakley for the most part, but my next pair will probably be Wiley. I have to have perscription, so its always spendy for a set of sunglasses.
