Riding Sunglasses
#31
I have a pair of Chromatic Panoptx (7-Eye) that I keep in my saddlebag for night time or dusty conditions, but I mostly ride with Polarized Oakley Scalpels. Without a windshield, I can cruise at 60 or above without wind in my eyes. It doesn't even affect my contacts.

I wear Wilex X Airborn glasses and I also look through the shield of my King. I do notice a little distortion near the top corners of the shield but after a few rides I was use to it. Hopefully this winter I will get a shorter windshield so I can look over it. I think I will much prefer that to looking through it.

Glasses, of any kind, are expensive for me (cataract surgery in both eyes). I need trifocal lens for both day and night!! I've always just used the best frames the optometrist sold at the time. Relegating the 'old' frames to sunglasses.
Does anyone know of a company that will fit trifocal lens into their contured 'riding glasses'?

My Wiley-X Bricks are the best glasses I've ever owned. Super fit and full wrap vision. Removable gasket. Mine are Rx. I got non-polarized with a flash mirror coating. Polarized glasses will give you problems with LCD guages and other things besides windshields and face shields. Most don't advise polarized for riding.
