Walmart specials. Never pay more than $20 a pair. Cos I always lose them...once or twice a year. Just find a pair that fits close to my face and wear those til someone sits on them. Then get another pair.

 

I use Ray Ban transitionals. They are clear at night and dark in the sun. That way I don't have to stop when the sun comes up and change glasses.

 

Here's an option of another place to look. I just ordered some from the leatherup.com website. They have a ton to chose from, all price ranges.

Sorry, somehow I lost track of this thread. There was a question for me about "ballistic" lenses vs polycarbonate, "bulletproof", etc. They are all polycarbonate lenses, just marketing hype to make their lenses sound "special".

 

Have some interchangeable Bobsters also goggles. But found out that changing lens or arm is some times pain in the ***, so i brought two more glasses which i spent less then 20 bucks. it is easy just to put on the ones i want. Have night time included as well

 

So, I am sitting through 15 hours of continuing education this weekend (ugh) and one of the topics is federal standards for impact resistance of lenses. This year, a large batch of lenses imported from China had falsified papers stating that the lenses in the glasses had passed the impact resistance tests. These were found on both prescription glasses and non-prescription sunglasses. So, this is just a heads-up to those who are buying the cheapest sunglasses you can find. Look for the "made in China" tag and buyer beware. I'm not saying all Chinese sunglasses are bad, but just keep this in mind when making your decision. You only get 1 pair of eyes and a rock at 70 mph can do a lot of damage!
