Default Heated grips vs. heated gloves

Where is my money best spent on these items? I like the idea of the grips, but I want to make sure they are long lasting and not too expensive to have installed (not doing this myself). Any suggestions on best grips - Heat Demons have a good rep -any others?
Thanks, Brent.

Heated grips will give you heat as long as they work but not all around your fingers will the gloves. If this were a vote I wold go for the Gerbing. And the add ons can't be beat.

One thing about heated grips you can't forget them at home, but I think gloves will do a better job at keeping your hands warm at least that's what I've read.

I have Gerbing T5 heated gloves and think they could keep your hands warm at almost any temperture.

Get the gloves first, then the grips. The grips are not a substitute for heated gloves. the grips are most valuable when it is slightly cold - not cold enough to make you stop and change gloves but cold enough to be uncomfortable.

I have both gloves and grips. In fact I have heated grips on both of my bikes and my Beloved Spouse also have them on hers.

heat demons work great!!! dont know bout gloves? the grips are great for those late night ride home when it was not cold enough for gloves when you went out, but when you stay out late and its cold on the way home those demons come in handy and they cook.

Yep, agree with what he said. I happen to prefer the Gerbing glove liners over the gloves as I can swap them between gloves.

Damn I'm glad to finally hear that someone has the Gerbing glove liners and likes them. I have asked several times about this and never got a response. I think I would prefer them to use with the gloves I already have and they are less than half the price of heated gloves.

I also prefer the glove liners over the grips.

Each has their place. It's worthwhile having both.
