If you are riding in cold weather, get the heated gloves. I have 3 seasons on my gerbings, and not one problem. I have had my heated grips fail twice in one year.

I have heated grips and will probably get some heated gloves soon. The grips are good until around 40 degrees. I'm hoping that gloves will make riding more comfortable when it's below 40.

The gloves can have your hands sweating at 16 degrees. As someone else said, the grips are good for spring and fall evenings when it cools off and you don't want to stop to change gloves.

I have both and really like the heated grips for most of my riding. The Gerbing gloves are a little bulky for me so I save them for really cold rides. Most of the time I use the heated grips and a light to medium weight glove. The Gerbing dealer downplayed the liners but I'm thinking about trying them anyway.

BTW - the heated grips work best if you have a fairing to keep the wind off them. Had a set on my wife's FatBoy, she had to turn them all the way up everytime she rode and they barely warm to the touch.

The grips suck. the will work great until you get them wet or into a rain shower. Mine laster 25 months then quit. Warranty only good for 24 months. Go figure. I really like them but the heated gloves I now use are much better at keeping my hands warm. Dealing with the wiring is a pain in the a$$ but they do work!

I have both, well sort of. Grips arent working and have to have my dealer replace them. As usual, the HD grips are crap. The Gerbing gloves are not as handy as the grips but they do keep your hands warm and ya can take your hands of the grips and the heat will follow.

I think gloves will do a better job at keeping your hands warm when its really cold.at least thats my experience.

Had lots of grip heaters.Got HD gloves last week.Hooked direct they may be too hot but controller is $100 more.Grip heaters worked well but the new throttle by wire has trouble with them.

I have both and I like each one for a different reason.
Grips heat the inside of your hands and feel really nice on a cool day. I set them on 3. Anything more is too hot.
Gloves heat the back of your hands. They're cheaper than grips. Best choice for overall warmth if you can only have one but grips are always there when you need them.
Together they offer major heat. Tough choice but I'd go with gloves if it can only be one.
