RE: can you adjust the aux lights on a rkc?
Using a long shank ball end socket (Snap on FABL5), remove two screws to release the turn signal lamp from the mounting bracket. Use the hole in the passing lamp bracket to access the inboard screw. Insert flare nut socket (Snap on FRX181, about $35 if I remember right) at the bottom of the turn signal mounting bracket and loosen locknut on stud. Adjust, retighten to 18 ft lbs. Re-Install turn signal.
or, remove the turn signal, cut the wire going to the lamp, use a regular socket to lossen the nut and adjust lamp, reconnect wire (solder is best to keep from vibrating apart) and cover with heat shrink, or good electrical tape.
or, twist the lamp and hope you don't break, strip, anything.

Rather than buying the Snap On flare nut socket I bought a 9/16" deep socket from the pawn shop for 1.00. I then used a dremal tool cutting wheel to cut a slot in the socket that would allow the socket to be used with the wire in place.
I can get a picture of my socket if anyone needs to see what I am talking about.

Bill

I did mine about two weeks ago, billnourse is 100% right. If he can't get you a pic I can send you one. Just just cut that slot in the socket 3/4 down the socket. The slot that youre going to cut in the deep 9/16 is for the wire. So you don't have to cut it, remember not to the pinch that wire. just take your time.
