Default Goodby, wide white walls

Wide white walls, I enjoyed looking at you for 47 thousand miles but it's time to go.
Got the rear replaced with black walls, will do the front next month.
Just got sick of cleaning them. Everytime you wash, down on knees scrubbing the hell out of them. Looks funny with one of each at the moment. Needed to get a few thousand more out of that front tire, it's the original. Toughest tire I ever saw.

It only takes me 10 minutes to clean my white walls. I use Wesley Bleche-Wite Tire Cleaner and a brush.

The black wall on the back is the 4th tire. The front is original. You will find some riders that leave the fronts on until they are spent, I'm one of those. My opinion (see previous threads) is most replace front way too soon. Hope to get at least 40K out of the next front tire.

Wow! I maybe get 8k on a rear mostly around 7.5. Fronts I'd say 20, 25k.
Although everytime I get caught up in a summer rain I swear I won't go that far in the front again.

Same here. That stuff is useless for just about everything else, but does a great job on whitewalls. The front is super easy, rear is a little more of a pain but isn't the end of the world.

Good for you. I just don't get the whole whitewall thing anyway. Never cared for it.
