Yeah I know, I'm gonna miss them, but after 2 rears and a front (35K) maybe I'll switch back. That's about 2 years for me.

The white walls and the leather bags are the main reasons I chose the RKC and I don't mind spending a few extra minutes to keep them looking good. I use Westleys Bleche-Wite for regular touch-ups and the Magic Erasor if they're really dirty.

So, I guess this doesn't make sense?

I always loved the look of the WWW on a Harley, gave it the old school look. But recently I replaced the rear with a black wall. With light bar and all the hardware back there i scrapped my last knuckle. Keeping the front WWW though. Can't see the back tire anyhow unless you get down on a knee. But 47k? I usually go 2:1, for every two rear i usually have to replace the front.

I'm on my 3rd rear and my 2nd front. 30000 on the front and still looks good. I ride mostly 2 lane 2 up so i'm not pushing it either. Pressure at 36 front 40 rear and also 70% front and 30 rear braking unless in a panic stop.

47k on a front tire. Incredible. Do a lot of wheelies?

I hardly ever clean my WWWs. I run a blackwall on the rear when I change it alone then switch back to WWWs when I change both tires.

47k brings new meaning to the word "spent"!

Let me get this right, you so far have gotten 47,000 out of that front tire, and are now riding around w/ 2 different tires, 1 white, 1 black because you wanna squeeze a few more thousand miles out of the front, which you've already gotten 47,000 out of. Wow. There's a fine line between thrifty and tight wad, you may be crossing it my brother. Just sayin.
