If you looking for tins..How would you go about it?
I am searching for tins, saddle bags, and inner and outer fairing for an 07 Ultra (the bike below). This is my first in looking for these items. I would like to know if you guy's know anyone or the best place to look for A1 material. I don't need matching color parts...just parts.
I typed in ebay and that just look like shambles of stuff without singling out what I need...now like I said, I am somewhat handy-capped in my searching.
I know there was some that offered some of my need on another post and I thank-you and will be in touch soon, now that I have gotten the insurance check.... Thanks men

While you may be lucky enough to find someone with an entire set of tins and bags for sale, more than likely you'll be forced to buy them piece by piece. Luckily, most anything from 1995-2007 are interchangeable, so you have a lot of years to choose from.
Keen an eye out here, e-bay, local craigslist ads, it depends how fast you need them and hoe much you're willing to spend.
Good Luck with the search.

Are you going to repaint the bike in a different color? I ask because you may want to consider primered HD parts; they're significantly less than painted parts prices.
Also, do you want to retain the front and rear chrome and rubber bumpers? If not, you can use plain OEM HD front and rear HD fenders, or purchase aftermarket parts with similar characteristics. For example, I purchased an RWD plain front fender that didn't have the rivets found on HD's plain front fender.
Good luck with your search.

The front fender for an FLHTCU is the same from 2000-2011. I don't know what changed in 2000 but prior to that the front fender had an -89 suffix so look for a front fender from 2000-2011
The fuel tanks also carry an -00 suffix so look for a tank from 2000-2007
The side covers are the same from 1997-2008
The rear fender is the same from 2006-2008. Again, I don't know what exactly changed but prior to 06 the fender is carrying an -01 suffix and then prior to that -97 so I would look for a fender from 2006-2008.
Tour pak is same from 2006-2008
Outer fairing is same from 1996-2011
Saddlebags are the same from 1993-2011
Most parts will fit as stated from 1997-2008 (except fuel tank) but some things have changes in material or other minor changes so I would stick to those years.
