I have a pair of Hertz HSK165 component speakers in my bike. I've listened to both and personally, I prefer the Hertz speakers over the J&M. To be fair, there is a significant price difference between the speakers I have and the J&M's.

If you have the extra money to spend, consider component speakers instead coax speakers. There is quite a difference in sound quality. Go to a local car audio dealer and listen to the difference.
