Thanks for the feedback. Most of my long distance rides are with bikes with open pipes around me and they drown out the sound much more than the wind does. Now I'll just have to wait for the half-price sale.

I love my J&M 7.25" speakers and amp also! Amazing difference between stock and even over other aftermarket systems. At 90 MPH, I can hear my music loud and clear and I wear a full face!

Enjoy the setup as it truly kick ***.

John is always there with support for all of us. He really is a great guy to deal with! Thanks John!

I have the new 7.25" speakers in my R/G....and what an
improvement over stock.
I'll be keeping my eyes open for the amps to go on sale....
as this will be a wonderful Christmas gift for my wife.

Thanks for your review......

Maybe when the 4 channel J&M amp comes out in early 2011 the 250W will drop in price. I don't know, but there is a possibility. Either way, there is such a difference between this setup and stock it is not funny.

Has anyone compared the J & M 7.25" system to the arc 2 channel mini with the 6 1/2" Hertz speakers? I am trying to decide between the two

J&M's amp is the Arc 125.2 amp; it even says so on the amp. Pluses for J&M are the installation racks and harnesses come with the amp. I have the Arc 125.2 and the cost savings were worth it to me to forego the racks and harnesses.

As for speakers, can't help you there; I'm happy with Infinity Reference 6.5" 2 ohm speakers. I don't think I've heard of anyone who's been unhappy with the Hertz speakers.
