Take the end cap off, sit the muffler end in something soft sitting upright, (rag, wood, whatever), then tap it out from the other end from the inside.
I wrap my baffles with fiberglass, (same as in dirt bike mufflers), seems to keep them tight, gets rid of any of the rattles, and that slight tinny sound.
In my opinion, takes the edge off a bit, but still sound great!

From the header pipe cracking (they did cover this one,) the chrome peeling off the chrome end caps, the dark end caps discoloring, the right baffle coming loose from time to time and the annoying sound mine made on some types of pavement . . . DONE with Rineharts forever.

Well they are being manufactured by Clearline Industries and not Bub anymore so this is technically the first issue with the "new" Rinehart. I can see your point though.

This was their response.
"Get some high temp Permatex and put a bead around the endcap and install the endcap. Let it set for a day before you run the bike and it should fix the problem."
Nice huh? It's the last RH product I ever purchase.
