Default Before & After WO518 Handlebars on '09 RKC

I thought I would post some before and after pictures of my installation of Wild One 518 bars on my '09 Road King Classic. So far I love the look and feel of the bars. The stock bars were not bad but I had to bend over in order to reach them. The WO518's are a perfect reach. Plus I like the lower look of these bars.

You're right!, I like the look too. Are they what HD calls "Reduced Reach" bars?, or is your part # different than those, do you know?

No, they are not Harley. I got them from Wild One and they call them the Road King II or WO518.

Hey Jim,

I love the looks of the WO 518 and have been considering them on my 2010 RK. But, I'm concerned about the wrist angle. Have you taken any long runs with the WO 518's? I mean, like 5-6 hours?

They look absolutely great!

I'm hoping to put 518's on this winter. Did you swap them yourself? what did it run you for cables ect...

I love my WO518's, lots of people confuse them with the WO508 with wheelbarrow wrist angle. I've done many long trips with no discomfort. I highly recommend them.

I have not had a chance to get it out on a long ride yet. I did around five hours on Sat and they were great. I might bump them down a nudge but they felt fine and I wouldn't think they would be a problem. I hope to get out for a day long ride on Friday if I can get off. The wrist angle is fine.

I had a local Indy shop do it. The HD dealer didn't seem like they wanted to install non-Harley bars. I think the braided clutch cable cost around $105 and the brake cables around $38.
