If you decide to sell yours sell it outright, don't trade it in. If the bike in your signature is the one your talking about & a 2007 you should be able to sell it outright for much more. Looks like you have alot of upgrades on it too!

 

I'd trade, but then that's just me.
If I don't like what I have, I get rid of it and get what I want.

 

that sounds like the way to go if i swap bikes. but it seems you guys think i have Street glide, its actually an Electra glide Standard. so its worth a few grand less than you guys may think.

 

Understood, but you have certainly made it look similar to a SG. If the dealer is offering you $9500 you should be able to get $12K selling it outright assuming the mileage is reasonable. I'm sure alot of people would be interested in buying something so close to a SG for alot less than a SG.

As a reference, I asked the dealer what they would give me for my 2007 Fatboy when I was buying my 2009 RG in May of 09 and they offered $10K. I listed it for $13.5K on ebay as a classified ad and sold it for $13K to the first guy who came and looked at it.
