I just bought a Tour Pack Lid Rack to put on my RKC Leather Tour Pack. I know to center it from side to side, but I'm a little concerned about the fore and aft placement of it. Would there be any issues if the rack were placed up near the back rest, or should it be moved back a little.

 

The tour pak's that I have seen come with a passenger's backrest. I assume you would remove the one on the bike before installing the new tour pak.
