I just changed out the stock seat on my RGU with a reduced reach (54383-11). It was no problem but, when it came to putting the grab strap back on it appears that HD does'nt want you to use the original chrome strap buckles. I could be wrong. Please advise. I ended up not worrying about it figuring I'll get some input from the forum. Any compelling reason I need it? It looks cleaner without.
