A small amount of clear silicon should work.
Dont know what else you would use.

Clear silicone is what everyone uses.

As an aside, I put the airwing luggage rack on and later decided on a fancy Mustang seat, including the passenger back rest pad and the template mounting pattern for the rack was about a half inch to far forward to let the new seat back bolt up..........cost a pretty good lick to send the seat back

Be sure you mount the rack far enough forward to allow room for the wing. The template shows this but I don't recommend using the template for any other reason than to recognize the position of the wing. Do a search for lots of good info for mounting the rack.

Yeah I put the template down to see where im going to do spoiler and the line shows the the rear line for mounting holes and it seems to be good that way as far away from back seat and above spoiler....I had a spoiler to see for a little while how it will mount but there was problems with paint job so I gave it back to Harley to get me another...so prob waitin another three weeks...

but yeah not going to mount this till I get spoiler so I see everything together first

I guess I missed that part in the instructions about putting sealant around the mounting bolts.
Has anyone had them leak in heavy rain ?

Be careful with the RTV and don't get it on any visible paint - it will damage the paint. DAMHIK
