Default How do you add a cb talk button for the passenger

I have a 2008 105th Ultra Classic. I have two factory headsets mounted into my, and my passenger, helmets. When my passenger is on the bike she can listen to the CB discussion with other biles onm our ride, however, she needs to tap me on the side when she wants to talk on the CB and then I push the handlebar switch so she (as a passenger) can talk to the other bikes... is there a way to add a second CB talk button for the passenger to use independent of me (the driver) having to push the talk button??? Can anyone help??? THANKS

If you really have an Ultra, there is a Push To Talk (PTT) button already there for her on the right rear speaker. Do you have an owners manual? Might want to read about the communication system and how to operate it...

Does the rear PTT switch operate the CB as well? I thought it was just intercom for the passenger

Looks like more than one of us needs to read our owners manual. I thought the rear PTT button was for the CB and the rider/passenger intercom was voice activated?

I guess I'll have to go dig out the OM and do a little research!

The intercom is voice activated, but I didn't know the CB could be operated by the passenger. That's one of them least used things on the ultra so I never really concerned myself with it. Hell, I don't think I ever used the CB

Here's how my '03 Ultra works: with intercom on and set to VOX, the passenger's PTT button keys the mic for the CB when on at the same time.

The passenger PTT switch has a couple of functions one is for the CB for the passenger and the other is a passenger PTT intercom if you turn off the VOX.

Read the manual it explains it in detail.
