I was real rare bird for a while...I ran my stock mufflers for 6 mos. After getting tired of cars just mosying into my line on the highway on the way to work, I slapped on the old SE mufflers I took off my 2005. Still have the stock air cleaner. My gas mileage actually improved a 2-3mpg.

From doing a lot of reading online, it is my understanding that the HD stage 1 download for later model bikes does NOT remap fuel (unlike earlier models). It simply raises the rev limit. If this is the case, one does not HAVE to get ANY additional fuel management with an A/C + muffler upgrade. However, one may be able to get a few more ponies out of the setup if one does get a Power Commander, SE Super Tuner, or TTS...

Looks like the Jiffy stand is on the right side of the bike.

And the air cleaner on the left. I don't think so.

2009 with PCV, slipons and SEAC kit. 2010 with 2-1-2 head pipes, slipons, PCV and SEAC kit. All of the above purchased from Fuel Moto. Not a waste of time or money. Give them a call, they ROCK!!!

I think the question about adding a fuel managment system is: "do you need one?" and the answer is "No".

But another question is: "would it be better with one?" and the answer would be "Yes".
