Tour pak removal

There are a few different antenna options that can go in the fairing or you can get an antenna kit to re-mount it on the back between the saddlebags and the rear fender. If you only want to remove the tour pak, there is no hardware to buy. If you want to be able to take it off and put it back on as a detachable setup, there is a kit available to do that.

You will need to disconnect the one antenna cable from inside of the tour pak and remove it through the rubber grommet.
Since there are no lights in your EGC tour pak it is fairly easy to remove. The best way I've found is first removed the 4 bolts that fasten the tour pak to the mount and then remove the mounting bracket itself. So that you don't damage the paint on the saddlebags, it's best to take them off before removing the mounting bolts on the tour pak bracket. Some may only open the lid but I perfer to remove the saddlebags completely.

If you don't buy the entire detachable tour pack bracket kit you will have to get the strut covers that will work with the 4-point(or 2-point) docking hardware; or I suppose you can leave them off. I got caught by that one.
