My buddy runs rienhart true duals, i run stock head pipes with S.E. slip ons. Same bikes, same year, engine everything. Ive riden his and it just feels gutless. Certainly sounds good, just no bottom end. When we are riding threw the hills he cant keep up either when pulling big hills at 60-70 mph

You need to retain a little back pressure for that bottom end. I run a 2-1 and love the sound and perfromance. They really compliment my cams. To each his own though.

I installed my Rush True Duals in August and love them. I had already been running the Rush mufflers with 2.25" baffles so the sound was fairly loud. The new headpipes completely changed the sound and gave them a real bark when you roll on the throttle.
There is definitely less heat off of the pipes, but it still gets pretty darn hot when you are trapped in traffic.
The other big difference is the quality of the heat shields from Rush compared to the HD heat shields. The Rush heat shields are thicker and much more durable.
