I checked my Kenda's & the front a 130/90/16 is 827 @ 40 psi & the rear a 140/90/16 is 907 @ 40 psi. I think that will do ok. Has anyone ever weighed the rear & the front seperately?

If you ride mostyly solo this is sufficient...I personally think Kenda makes a pretty decent tire.

Found a web site that had the bal of the Ultra. 56% on the rear which would bring the rear to 462# unloaded so 900 # @ 40psi should be fine even with my wife. For the price, I couldn't pass it up & so far have been happy that I did. Will know more as the mileage goes up on them.

Interesting since I changed out original D402 rear tire @12,000mi, and 2nd rear tire @26,000 miles yesterday. Glad to hear the EIII is working out for you better.

The 402's are crappy but do last - I doubt that Harley wanted a performance tire for bikes mostly being ridden like your grandma after the sale, so longevity was more important. I'd never run one again.
