Tonnetge, you should look into some products that protect against corrosion and other degradation of metals. I'm pretty obsessive about cleaning my bike (it's actually a stress reliever); but a friend of mine pointed out some corrosion I have on the front of my engine cylinder fins. I live at the beach, and the sea/salt air is wicked. Yet I missed completely that this part of my bike had an issue. My friend also lives at the beach, and he showed me his bike that is much older. His engine fins looked brand new. He told me that he uses a 3M product 08897 silicone lubricant. He said that product protects all the metals against corrosion, etc. I haven't found it or tried it; but my point is you may be able to find some products that will allow you to maintain the codition of your chrome--and buy some new chrome like the rest of us addicts.

I tell you what we all agonize over the size issue, let alone which one looks the best. But Phil and his guys at Hog Pro do an awesome great service and great people they will talk you through it. I went with the 21 and have not second guessed it since the first time I rode with it. I went all the way in with the 21/18 combo, Lydall rotors and pads and the Metzler's.
